Good Japanese food. Authentic flavors. I was impressed they even add shiso herb to some of their items. Sushi is made well and cut evenly. They way it supposed to be.

This is a favorite stop of ours whenever we are in the area. Clean, busy, friendly, and fast. We usually order to go. I had sushi rolls last time. Salmon skin roll and eel. They were delicious but I feel like the portion of fish rolled in was slightly skimpy. For the low price, I suppose this is to be expected. My dad ordered the beef curry bowl... there were exactly THREE small bits of beef, and the rest was carrots and broth. That is NOT what the picture shows! I know, food rarely matches as advertised. It was all still delicious but slightly disappointing. So, this time, we both ordered something different. I thought I'd try the Beach Boy sashimi deal - 9 pieces for $15.50. I don't know if I just pumped it up in my mind, but I was really disheartened when I saw the tiny slices. I don't get sushi or sashimi, much so it could just be my inexperience and inflated expectations. I mean this? For $15.50?? Oh well. I'll stick to the combos and sushi rolls! I still recommend it but try different items until you actually get what you paid for!

My favorite sushi spot in Long Beach. Never disappoints and you got a lot of food for your money. Plus the sushi comes with a beautiful flower.

This was my first time here I was looking for a sushi place. It's a very big unusual menu different than what I'm normally used too. I got the I think it's called a hawaiin roll very well presented for Take out it's salmon avacado on a California roll. I also got salmon skin roll no eel sauce. The salmon was fresh and the salmon skin was smoky which I liked. The person I was with got some special. It was a little loud in there but the cashier was very sweet since it was my first time. Very nice open airy place. Lots of people working there so they were churning out things at a good pace. My allergies are wheat gluten dairy and soy they were accommodating.
